TOsketchfest Announces Best of the Fest Award Winners

Today the Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival announced the winners of the 2020 Best of the Fest Awards through an online, and “definitely live”, award show. Originally scheduled for March 15, 2020 at The Theatre Centre, but cancelled due to COVID-19, the online Best of the Fest show included six award presentations and three performances.

The 2020 Recipients of the TOsketchfest Best of the Fest Awards:

Best of the Fest - diane by Laura Ramoso
Producers’ Pick Award - Ajahnis Charley: Thots and Prayers
Sketchiest Sketch Troupe Award - Anesti Danelis
Audience Choice Award, Festival Series - Carson and Taylor Promise To Do A Bunch of Flips
Audience Choice Award, Full Length Revue - Dead Parents Society
Outstanding Comedy Short Award - Uncle Saaajiid: Live from the Internet by Darrell Faria

The Best of the Fest Awards show, hosted by Ashley Comeau and Connor Thompson of The Lusty Mannequins, included performances by Anesti Danelis, diane, and a surprise rendition of “I Will Remember You” by Lady Mary and the Marquis van Shyzer.
