Stephanie Bakker-Hopf named Executive Director of Country Music Alberta
Country Music Alberta has announced Stephanie Bakker-Hopf has been named Executive Director for the organization, taking over for outgoing Executive Director Laurie Brown.
In the announcement Country Music Alberta said “Stephanie is a multi-passionate, project management specialist providing support to small business and creatives. Her experience in business management, broadcasting and the music industry have given her a vast skillset that she harnesses for her clients. Her passion lies in working with creative entrepreneurs growing powerful brands and sharing them, and their stories, with the world.
She’s also a proud mom to wonderfully loquacious and kind twin-teenage girls so you can bet that her interpretive skills are perfected on a daily basis. A true multi-talented creative, she admits a substantial vulnerability when it comes to music, lattes, her rescue pup, and great whiskey. You will often find her happily admiring our beautiful Alberta skies with one (or all) of these at her side.”
Country Music Alberta's mission is to educate, support, promote, and celebrate all levels of Alberta country music talent and industry as the membership strives to achieve their goals, while encouraging Alberta-based companies to become involved in the organization.
"Remember Your Name" is set for release on September 20, 2024.
