Bedwetter by Tamlynn Bryson On Tour This Summer
Drawing Board Productions will present their award-winning and critically-acclaimed show Bedwetter in Toronto, Ottawa, Winnipeg, and Edmonton this summer. Bedwetter is an hour long storytelling comedy starring Tamlynn Bryson as she recounts the heartbreaking, hilarious, and completely true story of how she wet the bed and wore diapers every night until she was 15 years old.
Audiences can catch Bedwetter in Toronto June 4-5 at The Assembly Theatre, June 16-26 at Ottawa Fringe, July 13-24 at Winnipeg Fringe, and August 11-21 at Edmonton Fringe.
From a press release: “Tamlynn Bryson used to be fairly quiet about her history of bedwetting. Wetting the bed is a relatively common problem in children, yet people seldom discuss it…aside from making bedwetters the punch line of jokes that usually paint the child as a “nerd” or “loser.” But now, a fully-grown, 28-year-old Tamlynn has decided to break her years of silence. This story will no longer be her deep, dark, shameful secret. Combining various theatrical elements including storytelling and sketch comedy, Tamlynn relives how she became a woman while still feeling like a child. But this time, she’s the one who gets to make the jokes.“
