Country on Community Radio in Eastern Canada
Radio has played an important role in country music since invention, and it is still a major tool for country musicians to reach their fans no matter where they live. Canadian country fans have access to numerous commercial radio stations online and the airwaves, but there are also many radio programs on community and college radio playing news songs and old tunes.
We have compiled a list of country programs on community radio in Quebec and the Maritimes, as well as Ontario and British Columbia. You can listen to almost all of these stations live online, or catch up on the shows that include a podcast after they go off air.
