Comedy on Community Radio

Canadians have a small but mighty choice when it comes to comedy on the radio.

CBC Radio One features nationally broadcast programs such as Laugh Out Loud, Because News, and The Debaters, while Bellmedia properties include Funny820 in Hamilton, Funny1060 in Calgary, and Inside Jokes is a weekly comedy show on AM640 in Toronto. These stations feature shows that range from pre-taped stand up sets, to panel shows, to artist interviews.

Sometimes you have to go beyond the mainstream to find the kind of comedy that works for you. We have compiled a list of comedy radio shows from community and college stations across Canada. You can listen to almost all of these stations live online, or catch up on the shows that include a podcast after they go off air.
